Pittsburgh Declares  May 8th as Mary Lou Williams Day

Thank you Mayor Ed Gainey and Hubbard El for declaring May 8th, 2022 as the Mary Lou Williams Day.

Thank you Heinz History Center, specifically Samuel Black for your long time support and initiating the life like museum figure of Mary Lou Williams inside the Crawford Grill. And thank you Erin McNamara, Sandra Flower, and Cassandra Horrell for documenting and editing the proclamation speech and sharing the content with the MLWI organization.  We look forward to a long term partnership.
